Antonin Noir

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc

Antonin Noir is a premium red wine produced from selected grapes grown at the Marnisi Estate in Marsaxlokk. Produced with a focus on elegance, structure and balance, it reflects the character of the estate and Marsovin’s long-standing commitment to quality winemaking. Careful maturation in French oak completes a wine conceived for both immediate enjoyment and graceful development in bottle.

  • Vintage Information

The 2024 vintage was shaped by an exceptionally dry growing season and the warmth of the Maltese climate. These conditions provided a distinctive backdrop to the development of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grown at the Marnisi Estate, resulting in wines that express the concentration and Mediterranean character of the vintage.

  • Tasting Notes

A Merlot-led blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it offers generous notes of dark cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry, complemented by twelve months of ageing in French oak. Supple and finely balanced, it combines ripe fruit with refined tannins and a long, velvety finish.

  • Food Pairings

An ideal companion to roasted or grilled red meats, lamb and game, as well as slow-cooked Mediterranean dishes and mature cheeses. Its structure and depth also make it particularly well suited to refined meat dishes with rich, savoury sauces.
